About Pastor Domonique Washington

"Lord, let my life speak highly of you even when I am quiet." - Pastor D.

She's a preacher's kid two times over, serving under her dad and mom, The Late  Bishop Rickey Washington Sr., and Pastor Lesia Washington at Higher Ground Outreach Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Following the upgrade of her father in 2021, she took up her mantle and rightful place as the lead pastor.  She and her mother made the righteous choice that the VISION that God gave to her father would live on.

She is a preacher, a teacher, an author, and a host. A recent graduate of Grace College and Seminary, earning a Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership with a focus on Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Communication with a concentration in speech.  She has authored several books, including the YLEAD (Young Leaders Entering Awaited Destiny: Recognizing The Leader Within) Series, Lessons from A Good Girl, Ever After Happily: Your Fairytale Starts and Ends with You, and She’s Still Smiling, and we all anticipate her next release Good Grief, the biggest oxymoron that changed my life.

Of all her accomplishments, Pastor Domonique is most proud of being the big sister to her siblings, Rickey II and Richelle, and the aunt to four nieces and one nephew.
